ENERGY QUALIFICATION STUDIES OF ELECTRICAL SUBSTATION BUILDINGS AND PROPOSALS FOR ENVIRONMENTAL IMPROVEMENTS IN THE DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF NEW BUILDINGS

Within the framework of the technical support contract that IK INGENIERÍA has with ACCIONA ENERGÍA, several studies have been carried out to verify the return on investment made in achieving energy improvements in buildings providing auxiliary services for substations, including elements to improve the enclosure equivalent to those adopted in office or warehouse buildings.

Based on the requirements established in the basic specifications for the enclosures and air-conditioning equipment, different scenarios have been analysed considering various climatic conditions, changes in the insulation materials of facades and roofs, in the installations and in the ventilation conditions... relating the improvement in energy efficiency and reduction of consumption with the increase and return of costs.
