IK Ingeniería has supported Enerblock, S.L. in the development of three Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for different products that the company will manufacture and market, thereby reinforcing its commitment to sustainability and to improving the environmental performance of its construction solutions.
The project has focused on the environmental assessment of different solutions developed by Enerblock, including the Enerblock PANEL, Enerblock FRAME and Enerblock SYSTEM. The latter is developed by assembling the Enerblock PANEL and Enerblock FRAME, resulting in an industrialized construction system.
The development of these declarations followed the main relevant standards and product category rules, including ISO 14025:2006, EN 15804:2012+A2:2019/AC:2021 and PCR 2019:14 Construction products (EN 15804+A2), version 2.0.1.
With this new collaboration, IK Ingeniería continues to support manufacturers committed to reducing the environmental impact of their products, leveraging its expertise in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and the development of Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), essential tools for advancing towards more sustainable construction.
