Parklex Prodema has worked with IK Ingeniería in preparing its 2025 Carbon Footprint Report, developed in accordance with the international GHG Protocol methodology.
This work provides Parklex Prodema with a comprehensive overview of the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions associated with its activities, covering Scopes 1, 2 and 3. The analysis helps identify the main sources of emissions and potential areas for improvement, enabling the company to continue making progress in reducing its environmental impact.
The collaboration between Parklex Prodema and IK Ingeniería on Carbon Footprinting began in 2022, as part of the HABICATOOL project. During this initial phase, the company’s Carbon Footprint was calculated, the corresponding report was prepared and a tool was developed to enable Parklex Prodema to carry out its own calculations independently in subsequent years.
Since then, IK Ingeniería has supported the company in reviewing these calculations, verifying that the data and information provided are accurate and that the process complies with the established methodology. The 2025 report marks the third consecutive year in which IK Ingeniería has supported Parklex Prodema throughout this process.
This collaboration is an example of the advisory and support work that IK Ingeniería carries out with numerous companies, helping them make progress on their sustainability projects and address the technical needs that arise in their day-to-day operations. In the case of Parklex Prodema, this approach has enabled the company to combine autonomy in calculating its Carbon Footprint with the technical support provided by IK Ingeniería over the past few years.
